In today’s world having a morning routine is essential. This helps in taking care of our bodies both physically and mentally. In the world on the “One Percenters” having morning routine is a way of life. Have you ever thought of what a billionaire does when he or she wakes up? Well, one famous billionaire has been open about what she does in the morning. This is Oprah Winfrey’s morning routine.
Oprah, wakes up between 6:02 and 6:28 am. Funny fact, she doesn’t believe in alarms. What she does is think of a certain time she wants to wake up. In an interview, she stated that she wakes up with gratitude and the first thing that pops up in her thoughts is, “I am alive, thank you”. She then brushes her teeth and lets her dogs out to use the Bathroom.
She then makes a cup of Chai with skimmed milk, after that she gets ready to go to the gym. By 7:05 am Oprah is working out in her home gym. Her workout includes 20 min on the elliptical, 30 minutes on the treadmill and she goes ahead to finish with sit-ups. After the gym, Oprah does 20 minutes of meditation either by walking or by sitting next to the window. When she is having a busy morning she will shorten her meditation time to 10 -12 minutes.
At 8:30 am she eats breakfast that contains medium boiled eggs and also incorporates a lot of fruits in her diet. If you happen to be visiting Oprah she will not let you starve, you will have a delicious and nutritious breakfast too. She then prepares herself for the day. Oprah prefers comfortable clothing while she is relaxing in the house.
At 9:00 am she conducts her personal business, like making phone calls and banking. This process takes up a lot of her time and she ends up finishing at noon.
