Easter Travel Tips

The Easter holiday is here, and with it comes the kids on holiday, family barbeques and busy Kenyan roads. With all the fun and travel, it is important to be well prepared.

Here are a few travel tips to keep in mind:

  1. Pump It Up: Ensure that the car is fully fueled and your tyres fully pumped. You don’t want to be stuck in the middle of the bundus with no petrol station in sight. (This is assuming that your trip is within driving distance). Needless to mention, always have your safety belt on, your driver’s license up to date and do not speed.
  2. Pack Light: This remains one of the golden rules of travelling. Pack smart (ditch the extra baggage) to ensure that you are not overloading the car.
  3. Check The Weather: Sweaters or sunnies? This, friends, is vital information.
  4. Health First: This is particularly for the mothers with young ones, plan for a doctor’s check-up before travelling, especially if this will be your baby’s first time out of town.
  5. Home Safety: Ensure that all electric switches are turned off, windows closed and necessary security measures taken.

With this, you should be set for your egg-stra long weekend! Have a great Easter and take care hey!
