4 Fun Challenges you Should Try

What we do every day makes it become a habit. A habit becomes lifestyle. We are here to encourage you to create positive habits which will influence a Wholesome filled lifestyle.

In this article, we share 4 habits you should challenge yourself on during this time as you spend most time indoors.

  1. 30 minutes each day to do a hobby

Being indoors for a long period of time has made many people realize that they have no hobbies. Most people are inclined to spend time on their phone, especially on social media. It seems like it is the escape most people run to. Do you relate?

Challenge yourself to engage in a hobby 30 minutes each day. If you haven’t discovered what your hobby is, you can take this time to look for one.

  1. Clean-eating Challenge

We all have to agree that it sometimes gets a bit too difficult to eat healthy especially with all the ‘quarantine snacks’ we have stocked in our pantries. Challenge yourself to have a day of clean eating at least twice a week for starters. Your body will be grateful you did this.

  1. No-screen time in bed

What is the first and last thing you do after waking up and before waking up respectively? For many of us, it has to be being on social media. It can be unhealthy when you allow yourself to become a slave of your phone. Take up a challenge whereby you shouldn’t touch your phone, or log onto social media at a certain time before bedtime, or after waking up. Say for example, No screen time past 9 p.m. and no screen time until you are fully awake and out of bed. It can be hard, especially with how we strive to be ahead on news, but by doing this, your mind will become clearer.

  1. Declutter

To some, decluttering is fun, to others, it is one of the most boring activities to do. However, decluttering helps clear your mind.

Take up a challenge to declutter your house/ room. You can begin decluttering in small sections. Take your time to enjoy the process. And while at it, clean up those corners that have been forgotten.

It will leave you feeling refreshed and your house/ room tidier.

Above all, remember to spread positive vibes and take care of your mental health.

Happy New Month!
