A Couple That Exercises Together, Lives Long Together

The perfect relationship, many will argue, may be superior to any gym membership. It’s a fact that married couples live longer, more beneficial lives than their single partners. Marriage can be considered a preserver of life like a safety belt. It fits right up there with having a good diet, getting exercise, and not smoking. This is because when you’re around someone that often, your likely to emulate each other’s healthy habits. Couples cannot go wrong living a healthy life together: It improves not just individual health and lifespan, but also makes for a great opportunity to enjoy a range of activities together.

Let’s look at how you can use your relationship as a platform for boosting your physical health:

Work out together

Make time everyday a 3-mile walk around your hood. Use it as an opportunity to unwind, catch up, and burn lots of calories each on every walk.

Share a trainer!

Couples will sometimes set goals for better health and more exercise but end up flaking because of lack of motivation. This calls for a program you could do together. Decide that your collective health is important and that your bodies are worth all the effort to eat right and get more exercise.

Ladies, tag along

If he plays golf, swims, runs, is in a soccer team…tag along. Play and/or take part if possible, or do your own thing right beside him.
