Healthy Breakfast Ideas

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. You have probably heard this over and over again. How you begin your day really matters, hence, what you consume in the morning could influence a huge part of your schedule and energy levels. As we begin the New Year, we will be sharing 5 healthy breakfast ideas that you should consider.

  1. Bananas
Bananas are easy to find, pocket friendly and can be consumed with everything. For breakfast, you can add bananas in your cereal for a vitamin boost. You can also have roasted ripe bananas for a change.
  2. Oatmeal
Oats are highly nutritious. A bowl of oatmeal eaten in the morning also provides a good source of energy. Oats can also be used to prepare oatmeal pancakes.
  3. Porridge
Porridge is one of the simplest foods to prepare. It might not seem exciting, but sorghum is loaded with healthy fiber and micronutrients. Add honey to taste instead of sugar for healthy breakfast.
  4. Sweet potatoes
They are a great source of fiber, vitamins and minerals. Switch these up with bread to break the monotony.
  5. Liver
Liver contains folic acid, iron and zinc. These are essential nutrients to the body. It is a source of vitamin A and is beneficial for eye health
