Take care of YOU this season

The holiday season is upon us and we couldn’t get more excited! This means more meet-ups, more food, drinks and definitely more conversations. It is so easy to get caught up in all this that you forget to take extra care for yourself. Here are six tips that will help you look after you this season.

  1. Hydrate. We can’t emphasize enough how important this is. As we all know, water is life. You might get caught up in the planning and prepping for the festivities that you forget to take in a few glasses of water. December is also known to be sunny hence a bottle of cold water in your handbag issa must.
  2. Begin your day with fruits. We all agree that we aren’t so keen in checking what’s on our plate during the festivities. Anything sumptuous and edible is welcome in our tummies. In most occasions, it isn’t the healthiest option. Taking a healthy breakfast consisting of fruits before you leave the house is a good idea not only to keep you healthy but also for aiding in digestion.
  3. Bond. With the kids home for the holidays, family members with us, and friends coming over, we definitely need to spend quality time with them. Don’t be so caught up in cooking and serving meals that you forget to have a little chat about the good oldies or the future you are looking forward to.
  4. Wash your hands frequently. It is during this season that we get plenty of hugs and handshakes. You don’t want to avoid shaking hands, at least not this time. So be cautious to wash your hands anytime you spot the chance… especially before indulging in meals; considering you are likely to indulge in lots of food.
  5. Laugh Out Loud: don’t hold back, take this opportunity to have a good time and enjoy the beautiful sun rays this festive season. We sure will.

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous 2020
