There’s Something To Be Said About Being Extra

Celebrities all around the world have all found fame (and fortune) by showcasing that one thing that made them stand out. Their consistent pursuit of that something extra is what keeps us hooked and glued to their exploits.

This month, put a little something extra into your routine and see if it will add a little pep to your health and fitness routine.

1.Embrace a partnered workout

Switch it up and asked your loved one to join you in your outdoor workouts. The endorphin rush you’ll both attain will bring you closer together.

2. Go the extra mile: If you typically run 10KM over the weekend, give yourself an extra push and run 12 KM. After a long day at school or work, the last thing you think about is doing “extra”. The weight can pile on though. We can combat that by shaking off that couch potato behavior and indulging in a 20-minute stretching routine as we watch our favorite show.

3. Take a trip: Kenya is a beautiful country and most cities and town have a national park that is either a 1 or 2-hour drive away. Whether it’s hiking a hill or mountain; or swimming in the ocean or geothermal; or taking a bike ride around the park. There is always something you can do-outside your comfort zone.

Do something a little extra this time around! It just may help you to better stick to your routine.
