FIVE FASHION TRENDS THAT HAVE GOT TO GO

Great style begins with subtraction. Yes. Whoever said less is more deserves all the awards at all the fashion award ceremonies that we occasionally come across on our Instagram and TV screens. Ah, the joys of Hollywood. A lot of people, you and us included, worry that we just don’t have enough clothes ignoring the fact that more clothes is not the secret to looking great. Well, maybe it is, but it most certainly is not the first step. Nor is washing your clothes with the amazing range of Toss detergents. You want to know what it the first step is? Getting rid of outdated trends and habits that are least attractive.

Need a little more explanation? Keep reading our list of 5 fashion mistakes that both men and women, need to stop making today:

  • Too Much Perfume: There’s no need to announce your presence with tons of fragrance on. Not only might this be the cause of an innocent by stander’s migraine, the art is in subtlety and spraying the right places: wrist, neck and maybe the chest, if it is at all exposed.
  • Promo T-shirts: You, friend, are many things. What you are not though, is a walking billboard. Unless you are getting paid to wear it, please leave such items for sleeping.
  • Studded Belts: “Shine bright like a diamond” should forever remain a cool lyric from Rihanna’s song, as far as belts are concerned. Make a statement in a simple leather belt that you can get years of wear of.
  • Baggy Jeans, Baggy Suits, Baggy Anything: Please familiarize yourself with the name of your tailor. Form fitting clothes flatter your body and are probably the easiest way to get it right.
  • Overly Tight: On that note, you don’t want to be bursting out of your seems. It’s simply not a good look, plus, your poor lungs. Take care of them!

There you have it. Simple right? What’s one fashion trend you’re leaving in 2018?
