STYLISH SOULS FOR WINTER

July is notoriously known for the cold temperatures. As the temperatures drop, we can’t help but want to hasten in as many layers of clothes as possible.  Often than not, we aren’t in the mood to dress up, or rather, we have no idea of what to put on. Here are a few tips on how you can still dress like the stylish soul you are even in the cold.

  • Get bright colors: Cold weather means gloomy days. A touch of brightness will not only brighten you but it will also bring a little smile to your face.  A little brilliant shine never hurt anyone. So, choose clothes that are brighter to compliment you this season.
  • Go for fitted, not baggy. Many people have the misconception that in order to stay warm you must avoid anything fitted. Interesting enough, it’s the exact opposite. Loose fitted clothes actually make you colder than fitted clothes. The trick is, when you go tight, go for clothing that have a thicker fabric.
  • Throw on a pair of stockings or tights: Ladies, these should be your friend this season. You can dress them up in that dress or you could have them under your pants. Keep your lower body warm by having them on.
  • Rock your boots: A pair of boots will complete any look this season. Pair them with your dresses, trousers and tights too.
  • Get your leather jackets: Leather jackets go with everything. Bust them out and proudly rock them. Not only do they keep you warm, but they also make you look trendy.

Experiment with scarves: Scarves can be worn in many ways than simply wrapping around your neck. You can wear them as an accessory too. Choose bright scarves so that they can brighten your outfit to make you stand out.
