Toss: Fashion,Time To Toss In the Vibrance

Did you know that 70% of the dirt on your clothes is invisible? This month, we’ll share some laundry cleaning tips that will help get rid of 99.9% of that invisible dirt.

Interested? Journey with us as we unravel some laundry cleaning facts that will help with the longevity of your favorite attire and maintain their vibrant bright, or dark colors. How does that sound? Keep reading.

The first tip is to skip the dry cleaning. Especially when dealing with fabrics that include synthetic materials composed of plastic, PVC, and polyurethane, because dry cleaning can mess up that type of fabric.

When it comes to Linen, wool and silk dry cleaning is the best option to maintain their quality. If colors bleed on the linen, wool and silk dry, then do a small spot test beforehand and cut down on the dry cleaning to avoid color bleed. This can help you save on expenses as well.

To get rid of stubborn stains, drench the laundry in Toss Blue detergent. When dealing with white or colored clothing Toss White can get rid of those stains. For some sweet, inviting, pleasant fragrance you can trust Toss Lavender to get the job done. For some popping, vibrant, brightness introduce Toss Bright to your outfits and it will bring the colors alive in them. For sensitive clothes especially for the little ones Toss Sensitive will be very gentle on them and on your hands as well.

When doing laundry, always remember to use less detergent. Don’t use too much because it may leave residue on your clothes, making clothes feel stiff and have a dull color. They may also age quicker.

When it comes to clothes with dark colors there is a technique to keep them vibrantly dark when washing them. Please note, that this will maintain the vibrant dark color on the outside but not on the inside.

Shorter washing cycles are usually best for clothes that aren’t very dirty or very stained, and aid in helping clothes last longer.

Cold water is less abrasive on fabrics than hot water which can cause shrinking and stretching. Cold water can help to maintain bright and dark colors. Warm water can also be useful, especially with jeans and white clothes and hot water is best on towels and solid whites.

On a dryer only use normal or regular on heavy items like towels and jeans because these two setting options offer the most heat.  Using the delicate setting on clothes you want to maintain, is a great setting. It prevents shrinking and damage to the material.

Following these tips will ensure the best outcome for your laundry. Use Toss to bring out colours and brighten your fabrics and maintain them as well.
