What To Wear When Working From Home?

Lockdown and curfew are currently the new buzzwords. Because of the pandemic, we’re being advised to work and stay indoors more than usual.

It can be difficult figuring out what to wear when you’re at home all day. Whether you’re working from home or doing house chores, looking for what to wear can sometimes be a bore.

The big struggle sometimes is wanting to feel comfortable and looking good as most often than not, how you dress gives you the motivation to tackle the day ahead.

Working from home can be challenging and some dress up somewhat in order to maintain their daily routine. Whether you’re working from home or going to work, give your clothes that fresh and clean look, with Toss which washes the dirt, not the colours.

Since your normal routine is interrupted when working from home, it can help you feel more at ease to wear something a bit closer to what you’d normally wear at the office. Being at home does not mean sticking to a boring fashion, here are some tips to help you out moving forward: Dress for your mood. If you’re feeling happy or you’re in a good mood, throw on some bright coloured clothes to go with it.

It’s okay to have a lazy day. If you’re in the house 24/7 everyone can relate to that feeling. You can choose to wear some sweats and pyjamas all day and that’s okay. Do the half. Wear a shirt and football shorts because why not? Life is too short to be serious. Dress for success. Just to reminisce the days you had to dress up for work, wear that power suit or that dress that you’ve been saving to wear for an occasion.

Have a retro day. Feel like going back to the 60s 70s and 80s, why not? While at home, make hay while the sun shines.

You could also take some of your old clothes, wash them with Toss and donate them to a children’s home, a friend or a relative.
