The woman you should strive to be

It’s International Women’s month and as we celebrate women, we will be sharing tips and attributes that we feel every woman should have. Let’s get straight to it

  1. Assertiveness

A woman should embrace her individuality, learn what her strengths are and use them to make an impact. Being an assertive woman doesn’t mean having to raise your voice, it means owning your value and using confidence to show people you are someone worth being listened to.

  1.     Confident

Looking good and feeling confident helps you gain self-esteem and enables people to be more inclined in listening to you. Confidence gives you boldness. Bold women who do things their own way are attractive. It’s not your hair, makeup, or body type that define your beauty. The most attractive quality you can possess is a confident and independent attitude. Through this, you take your happiness and success into your own hands.

  1.     Courageous

Be courageous in times of fear. Women are often viewed as the weaker sex, however strong we may feel. When you need to be strong but feel weak, remember that you are stronger than you seem or feel and go for it. Stand up to someone that’s been walking all over you and do it girl. You are strong. You can do it, and you’ll feel even stronger after doing something that brought you down.

  1.     Remember your self-worth

When you act as though you deserve to be treated with respect, others will treat you that way. The most self-reliant women are the ones who have worked through fear, rejection, doubt, and other hard situations to get there. But in all this, never did they undermine themselves. You could have been through things that knocked you down but that will eventually bring you to the realization that the only person you can completely rely on is yourself.

  1.     Be your own cheerleader

Dress up, step out, go for it and shine. After all, who runs the world?
