Travelling Essentials: What To Pack (Part 1)

Wherever you go, you pick up a part of that place. It becomes part of who you are… Somehow.

There’s a lot of talk about travelling, going to new places, adventure, doing new things and exploring new territories. The ‘what’ and ‘where’ of travelling is just the tip of the iceberg yet we could be here all day, trying to cover just the intro.

Oh! How things have changed. Back in the day, we had travel diaries on the discovery channel or would catch a glimpse of our dream destinations on music videos or TV shows. Now, we have Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube and every other social media platform that you could think of.

Go, capture, share, repeat!

It has become a viscous cycle, a choo choo train that everyone is jumping on, leaving us on another level of FOMO! We all want to go!

Well, ladies and gents, this is just the beginning of our journey into discovery. Buckle up, sit tight and enjoy this ride.

Before we embark on this journey, how about first packing our bags.

Whatever you have in your carry-on or suitcase is highly, we repeat, highly dependent on where you are going and for how long. Of course there are items that are a must have on all occasions, such as identification materials.

Here’s a list of the bare minimum, categorically, which we shall expound on a little later;

  • ID/ Passport/ boarding pass
  • Cash/ wallet/ credit cards
  • Clothing
  • Toiletries
  • Health
  • Entertainment

See you at the next stop guys, where we delve into all the above and so much more. But before that, we shall leave you with a little inspiration to keep you going.

“Travelling,

It leaves you speechless,

Then turns you into a storyteller.”
