Valentine’s Day On A Budget

February is the month of love and…. let’s keep it real. For the ladies, this is a month they look forward to. We can’t however say the same for the men. February for them is summarized in one word: PRESSURE!

The assumption is that if you haven’t secured a table for dinner at a fancy place, ordered the flowers or booked a surprise gateway for her, then you have failed to give her that special Valentine’s. But who ever said that there is a price on love?

This Valentine’s, surprise your significant other with something simple and thoughtful that isn’t above your budget.

Here are a few ideas of what you can do during this day:

Dinner at home.

Valentine’s is about rekindling your love and getting to spend quality time with each other. Why not cook for her? At home, you have all the privacy that you need. While you’re at it, you break the monotony of eating out all the time. Bet your valentine would also appreciate the fact that you went out of your way to make a meal for her.

Go on a picnic

Pick a cool spot, pack sandwiches and drinks and it’s a date. You get to enjoy both the environment and your own company. Remember, it’s the little things.

Make matching t-shirts/ hoodie

This may sound expensive but given its value, you will not regret the spend. Make a matching t-shirt/ hoodie for you and your significant other that you can wear for many Valentines’ to come. Cute and long lasting!

Hope your Valentine’s turns out awesome! Happy Valentine’s Day lovebirds!
