CSR Activity at Kinanie Primary School. Athi river, Machakos County.

On 29th January 2022 KAPA OIL REFINERIES in partnership with Rotary Club of Stoni Athi, engaged in a CSR activity at the Kinanie Primary School Grounds. The stakeholders present for this activity included; Stoni Athi Rotary Club, Rotaract Club of Athi River, Kinanie Primary School, Mulandi Primary School, Kenya Airways, Superior Homes, Kenya Forest Service and Tana & Athi River Development Authority (TARDA).

The event which started at Midday was planned by the Stoni Athi Rotary Club members as a Career day and tree planting activity. It also involved the launching of clubs at the school (Debate, Environmental and Book clubs were launched) and the provision of sanitary towels to the girls.

The club members had sought support from Kapa and other Stakeholders for tree seedlings as below:

  1. Kenya Forest Service –300 seedlings
  2. TARDA – 20 seedlings
  3. Kapa Oil – 500 seedlings
