Press On With Prestige Margarine

Event: Ghetto Radio Press On with Prestige Margarine School Activation.

Objective:

  • To reach out to the people through Ghetto Radio.
  • To educate & create awareness for Prestige Margarine to school children (Sponsored by Kapa).

Coverage: Drive Inn Primary School, Mathari.

Dates: 20th March 2015.

Facilitator: Ghetto Radio.

The activation was a collaboration between KAPA and Ghetto Radio targeting the radio station’s listeners and pupils at Drive Inn Primary School in Mathari.

Ghetto Radio listeners were requested to nominate their childhood primary school and whichever school got the most votes on their social media platform would be visited by Kapa Oil employees to present different products including Prestige Margarine to the pupils of the selected school.

The objective was to create a lasting mark on the pupils which would in turn translate into purchases in their households.

The activation was significantly positive as the pupils got to learn a lot about Prestige Margarine and as a result were very receptive of the product.

Sample products were presented to the pupils as well as residents in the area.
