In the spirit of giving during Easter 2012, Kapa participated in a CSR activation on Inooro Fm that involved giving back to the needy. Kapa rewarded deserving charity homes that had strived to improve lives through provision of health care, food, education and rehabilitation services.
The promotion covered all 6 counties of Central Kenya where a charity home from each of the 6 counties were chosen and rewarded with Kapa Easter hampers that contained boxes of Tilly Cooking Fat, Prestige Margarine, Chapa Mandashi, Toss Blue Detergent Powder, Toss Machine Wash Powder, Jamaa Luxury Soap and Jamaa Laundry Bars.
The chariry homes rewarded were Karirikania Home for the Disabled, Elshaddai Children’s Home, Dororiore Centre, Karatina Children’s Home, Talithakum Children’s Home and Dreams Children’s Home.
