Easter is finally here; time to get busy and start making those treats for the kids J. This Easter, why not surprise your children by preparing some delicious Easter chocolate chip cookies. You will thank us later!
PS: You can totally do this with your kids!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Prestige margarine, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- Chocolate chips
- 3 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- Half a teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 cup milk
Method
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix all the dry ingredients together i.e. flour, baking powder, baking soda, chocolate chips, salt and sugar.
- On a separate bowl, mix Prestige margarine, eggs, milk and vanilla extract and stir.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the other ingredients in one bowl and mix.
- Divide the cookie dough into small portions and lay them on the oven rack.
- The cookies will take 10-15 minutes to be ready.
- Once done, let the cookies rest.
These treats can be served with hot chocolate, tea or a glass of fresh juice. Happy Easter!!
