Welcome to April, we are already a quarter way through the year.
This is the month that has two religious holidays, Easter and the holy month of Ramadhan respectively. Both are marked by self-reflection ,penance ,acts of love to friends, family and community.
As you all know, all festivities include a feast. And there’s no better cooking partner to prepare your meals than Rina.
Below is an easy to prepare Chicken recipe. Here you go:
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp mixed herbs
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1 tsp black pepper
2 eggs
12-15 Pieces of chicken, skin on
Rina Oil, for deep frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together all-purpose flour, paprika, garlic powder, turmeric powder, chili powder, salt, black pepper and mixed herbs.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs.
- Dip the chicken into the eggs and coat with the flour mix. Dip it again in the eggs and coat with the flour again.
- Deep fry with Rina for 6-8 minutes or until brown and crispy. Take out on a paper towel to drain the excess oil and serve.
