Flavorful Chicken Stir Fry Nala Noodles: A Fusion Delight

Ingredients:

250g Nala noodles

2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1-inch piece of ginger, grated

1 onion, thinly sliced

1 red bell pepper, julienned

1 yellow bell pepper, julienned

1 carrot, julienned

1 cup snap peas, trimmed

Salt and pepper, to taste

Green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions:

Cook Nala Noodles:

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add Nala noodles and cook according to package instructions. Drain the noodles, rinse them under cold water to stop cooking, and set aside.

Marinate the Chicken:

In a bowl, combine thinly sliced chicken breasts with soy sauce, sesame oil, and a pinch of black pepper. Let it marinate for about 15-20 minutes while you prepare other ingredients.

Stir-Fry Chicken and Aromatics:

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the marinated chicken slices to the skillet and stir-fry until they are cooked through and slightly browned. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Cook Vegetables:

In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed. Add sliced onion, julienned bell peppers, julienned carrot, and snap peas. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender yet still crisp.

Combine Ingredients:

Return the cooked chicken to the skillet with the vegetables. Stir in oyster sauce and toss everything together until well combined.

Add Noodles:

Add the cooked Nala noodles to the skillet with the chicken and vegetables. Gently toss to combine, ensuring the noodles are coated with the sauce and heated through.

Adjust Seasoning and Garnish:

Taste the stir-fry and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.

Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds for added flavour and texture.

Serve and Enjoy:

Transfer the chicken stir-fry noodles to serving plates or bowls. Serve hot and enjoy the delicious fusion of flavours and textures!
