Love in Every Bite: Decadent Valentine’s Brownies Recipe

As Valentine’s Day approaches, what better way to celebrate the season of love than by indulging in some irresistibly rich and gooey Valentine’s brownies?

Ingredients

1 cup Prestige Margarine

1 and 1/2 cups granulated sugar

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

4 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup chocolate chips or chunks

Optional: Valentine-themed sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a square baking pan with parchment paper, ensuring that the paper hangs over the edges for easy brownie removal.

Melt the Prestige

In a microwave-safe bowl or on the stovetop, melt the Prestige until it’s smooth and liquid. Allow it to cool slightly.

Combine Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. This combination will give your brownies that perfect fudgy texture.

Mix Wet Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted Prestige and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined. Add the eggs one at a time, ensuring each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can affect the texture of your brownies.

Add Chocolate Chips

Gently fold in the chocolate chips or chunks. The addition of extra chocolate will create pockets of gooey goodness in every bite.

Bake

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).

Cool and Decorate

Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 15 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, cut them into heart shapes using a heart-shaped cookie cutter, or simply cut into squares. Add Valentine-themed sprinkles for a festive touch.

Serve with Love:

Plate your Valentine’s brownies on a pretty dish and share them with your special someone or friends. These brownies are best enjoyed with a warm beverage or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
