Mbuzi Choma With Garlic, Oregano And Lemon

The very idea of cooking with your dad may seem a bit odd for those who are not accustomed to the sight of their dads in the kitchen. This is largely because dads typically tend to stay away from the kitchen. We will be forgiven for mistaking this trend for toxic masculinity, when in real sense it’s probably because they might lack the confidence.

How about for Father’s Day, you team up with him to throw down a mean meal that may give him just the push he needs to consider exploring his hidden culinary talents? If for nothing else, it will provide a unique opportunity to bond with him.

Ingredients

  • 8 garlic cloves
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 4 tablespoons Olivia virgin olive oil
  • 4 lemons
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 2 tablespoons of oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt and black pepper
  • 1 Kg goat chops

Instructions

  • Blend a combination of garlic, onion, olive oil, lemon juice, wine, oregano, salt, and pepper. Place the mix in a bowl, and use it to marinating the meat. Refrigerate 1-1/2 to 2 hours.
  • Heat 4 tablespoons of oil on medium in a sauté pan.
  • Place the chops in a skillet and brown them all round.
  • Turn down the heat and cook for another 5 minutes. Serve them hot. And enjoy!
