For most, Sundays meant church, chai, and the smell of pancakes from the kitchen. They weren’t the tall, fluffy ones, just soft, rollable pancakes that made the morning feel special.
And now, with Chapa Mandashi Baking powder, making them is even easier.
Recipe:
- 1 cup Chapa Mandashi Baking Powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk (more if you like them thinner)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 2 tablespoons oil or Prestige Margarine
Steps:
- Whisk egg, milk, vanilla, and oil together.
- In a separate bowl, combine Chapa Mandashi Baking Powder and flour. Add sugar, then slowly mix into the wet ingredients until smooth.
- Heat a pan, pour a ladle of batter, cook until golden, flip, and repeat.
- Serve rolled up with honey, jam, or margarine, just like we used to love.
Because sometimes, the best part of growing up is realizing those simple childhood treats are still within reach.
